BROTHER!

Ryan aka "Brother" was called to serve in the BALTIMORE, MARYLAND Mission. He leaves Dec. 9th!! I can't believe my baby brother is #1 old enough to go on a mission and #2 that he's going to BALTIMORE!! That's crazy!

Brother has been my best friend since he was born. Our friendship started with me dragging him into the hall as a newborn because I was a little jealous that he was getting all the attention. It then progressed to him playing endless hours of Barbie with me. I didn't have a sister so I had to improvise. He has been such a fun buddy and I love that guy. Us three Ellingson kiddos had a blast growing up. I can't believe Brett has been home for 2 years, I'm married for almost 2 years (next month), and Ryan is going on a mission. Before we know it we'll all have babies! Weird. I love my brothers and I'm excited for Ryan!!

Summer and Fall Update

I guess today is the day I update for the last several months! This summer was a fun one! I left Shawn for two weeks and took off to Cali to visit Uncle Rick and Aunt Susie and Paul and Nat and their kids. We also went to Texas for the second time this year! We went for our nephew, Teagen's baptism and for the BYU VS Oklahoma game. That was awesome! September 5th (the day of the baptism and game) was SHAWN'S 25TH BIRTHDAY!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABA! Most of our family was there (minus Chris and Becki and kids, Ashley, Robbie, and Tommy). Shawn's little sister, Ashley, my twin (we are a day a part)left on a mission to Lansing Michigan. Also, Shawn's cousin, Jamie, got married. A lot of Shawn's extended family came out for Ashley's farewell and the wedding (they were a week apart). It was a crazy two weeks but so much fun! Jen and Kiley came out with the kids. Jen and the kids stayed for several weeks but sadly Kiley only stayed a short period. It is soo fun when they come! With so much going on this summer flew by so fast! I can't believe it's already October. Right now we're both going to school full-time. Shawn has an awesome internship at EXL Fitness and I am looking for a new job! (If anyone knows of anywhere that is hiring please let me know). I just finished my home staging course. I am just waiting to see how I did on the test and Shawn is working to get his personal trainer's license. We're just having fun and enjoying each others company!!

EXL FITNESS Bootcamp

Shawn and I have both put on a pound or two since being married almost 2 years ago. Shawn was just over 200 pounds and I was at the all-time high of 130. At the beginning of the summer we both decided to lose weight. I wanted to get back down to 115 LBS and Shawn wanted to hit around 190. Since then Shawn has lost 15 LBS going from a size 36 pants to a 32. At his current weight of 185 he still isn't done! His new goal is 175. He looks amazing! I am down to 120 with 5 more pounds to go. We owe much of our success to MAT THE TRAINER at EXL Fitness. Shawn started there as an intern a couple months ago and will eventually become a full-time trainer with EXL Fitness. We both started working out and that is where we have both seen success. I did P90X for a couple months but only lost like 2 pounds. Shawn lost a lot more than I did on P90X but he has found most of his success with EXL. Since I have started at EXL Fitness I have lost 8 pounds (I've been going for about a month). It is crazy hard but it will give you crazy good results! He trains people of all ages and all fitness levels. There are many options including a womens only class taught by his wife Pam. This week (OCT 5-9) is free for anyone who wants to try it out. He does his programs in "phases". His new phase starts October 19 so if you are interested hurry and come on in! Rainy Summer??? Zoo???

This summer has been rainy just about every day! Its been a bit strange but last night Shawn and I decided to take advantage of it and have a little fun!

Shawn and I decided to take a day and have some fun and go to the zoo! They have totally redone a lot since either of us have been there. There was a cool Madagascar theme. They even had Lemers and Fusa! Fusa are actually totally adorable!






We thought this bird looked totally humiliated and embarressed. There was a bird show right before this...maybe it didn't go so well. haha
